OCIA stands for the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, formerly known as RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), and is the process through which adults are initiated into the Roman Catholic Church. 

OCIA is all about developing a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is not a program it is a process. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process designed for those who have never been baptized or have been baptized in another faith tradition and are thinking about becoming Catholic.  We welcome new members year-round.  It is also open to those who have been baptized Catholic and never received any other sacrament.
